My first love was ballet

The Elite School of Dance aims to provide the opportunity for girls and boys to enjoy dance.

The school has been providing dance classes in the Sherwood and Graceville area for the past 30 years. 

The teaching team strive to provide its students with a quality dance education whilst in an enjoyable and supportive environment at an affordable price.     

The school offers students the opportunity to take dance examinations and participate in dance eisteddfods. Higher level examinations can be recognised on a student’s Queensland Certificate of Education.          

The Elite School of Dance offers classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary and Hip Hop. 

The Syllabi taught at the school are: 

• ATOD - Australian Teachers of Dancing,
• ATOD - Imagine Syllabus,
• EDTA – Education in Dance and Theatre Arts and;
• Al Gilbert Tap Syllabus.  

The school encourages all those that want to dance, from the age of 3 through to adult.
